The combined, one-way or round-trip tour allows you to travel from Oslo to Bergen (or vice versa) using trains, boats and buses. The trip can be taken both ways: starting from Bergen or Oslo. Select the direction of travel during the booking process.

You can also choose a "short" version with departure from Bergen to Flam, Myrdal and back to Bergen, without passing through Oslo.

Train from Oslo to Myrdal

  • The journey begins aboard trains of the VY (the Norwegian state railways). This 471-kilometer-long railway line connects Oslo to Bergen through the most beautiful natural landscapes. In Finse it touches the highest point of the Norwegian network at 1222 meters. It is recognized as one of the most beautiful train travel experiences in the world.
  • Suggested time: departure from Oslo S. by train at 6:25 a.m., arrival in Myrdal at 11:15 a.m.

Train from Myrdal to Flam

  • Waiting for you in Myrdal is the Flamsbana line train: a rail route that from the 866 meters of Myrdal via a breathtaking descent, in just 20 kilometers, will take you to Flam, a town on the banks of the Aurlandsfjord. A stop here is really recommended.
  • Recommended time: departure from Myrdal by train at 12:06 p.m., arrival in Flam at 1:04 p.m.

Boat from Flam to Gudvangen

  • Begin in Flam the journey on two of the arms of the Aurlandsfjord, bordered by mountains reaching 1880 meters in height. In about 2 hours of relaxing sailing, you reach Gudvangen.
  • Suggested time: departure from Flam by boat at 3 p.m., arrival in Gudvangen at 5 p.m.

Bus from Gudvangen to Voss

  • Bus ride of about 1 hour, including stops, taking in the famous waterfalls until you reach Voss.
  • Recommended time: departure from Gudvangen by bus at 5:25 pm, arrival in Voss at 6:55 pm.

Train from Voss to Bergen

  • From Voss, return aboard VY trains to continue to Bergen with about an hour's ride.
  • Recommended time: departure from Voss by regional train at 7:13 p.m., arrival in Bergen at 8:40 p.m.

How to use

You only need to show it in order to travel on the trains, boats and buses provided by the route you purchased.

Validity

You will be able to stop along the route, but remember that the reservation on the trains will only be valid for the day you have indicated. So if you wish to stop along the per course, for 1 or more days, please contact us so that we can make train reservations for the specific dates and routes: Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 02.60.68.11
