The Pass is already active and you do not have to do any exchange or activation.

Just show your pass printout, or show the screen of your smart phone, to get free entry. The GO Rome Explorer Pass allows you to visit any of the included attractions. Once the first use has been made, the Pass is valid for 30 days. For the number of free admissions you have purchased. The Pass will however expire after the visit to the last attraction allowed by the version you have purchased.

All passes are valid for one year from the day of issue. Changes to your travel dates are possible and you do not have to do anything.

Also within one year of the issue of the passes, you can request a refund without penalty.
The condition for a refund is that the passes have never been used. Partial use does not entitle you to a refund.
