Children up to the age of 5 do not need the Valencia Card: they travel free on public transport and enjoy free/discounted access to museums, etc. From 6 years old and up they need the Card.

Activation
The card is automatically activated the first time it is used. You just have to remember, before using it, to write your surname and first name and the date on which you start using it on the back.
How to use
Simply show it to get free admission or to obtain the discounts and benefits reserved for you. Consult the guide that you will receive with your Card for full details on how to use it.
Validity
Once activated it will be valid for the number of consecutive hours you have purchased. For example: if you purchased a 72-hour card, and you use it for the first time on a Thursday at 12 noon, the card will expire at 11.59 a.m. on Sunday.
