Louvre Museum Guided Tour

The museum stretches 700 m along the Seine; a labyrinth of rooms divided into different sectors housing a priceless heritage: oriental, Egyptian, Greek, Etruscan, Roman, Islamic antiquities, graphic arts, the great Italian gallery, French painting, the Flemish and German wing, the sculpture galleries, the royal apartments, and the medieval moats. To put it bluntly, it is like several thematic museums within the big museum. More than 35000 works on display in total, including paintings, sculptures and artifacts, it has been estimated that it would take nine months to be able to view them all once!
